Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the business operating under the trade name Bring Them to Life ("Bring Them to Life," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you visit bringthemtolife.xyz, upload an image, request an animation, receive files, or contact us.
1. Scope and our role
This policy applies to our website, private beta, animation-generation workflow, delivery pages, and support communications (collectively, the "Service"). It does not govern websites or services that we merely link to.
The person or entity doing business as Bring Them to Life is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to hello@bringthemtolife.xyz.
2. Information we collect
| Category | Examples | How we receive it |
|---|---|---|
| Uploaded content | Character, mascot, group, person, illustration, or branded-object images; file name, file type, and related metadata. | Directly from you when you choose an image. |
| Project and output data | Selected reaction, cutout preview, prompts created from your selection, generated animation, poster, delivery files, job status, private delivery link, and related provider identifiers. | From you and from our Service as it processes your request. |
| Contact and support data | Email address, delivery messages, questions, feedback, and support correspondence. | Directly from you. |
| Access and security data | Promo-code status, consent record, IP address, browser and device information, request time, essential session information, and error or abuse-prevention records. | Automatically when you use the Service. |
| Transaction data | If paid features are offered, the product purchased, amount, currency, payment status, and transaction identifiers. Our payment processor receives your payment-card details. | From you and our payment processor. |
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- preview and isolate your subject, generate the selected motion, finish and package the output, and deliver your files;
- keep a job available while it is processing and let you resume or retrieve it;
- send delivery and service messages and respond to support requests;
- protect the Service, enforce limits, prevent fraud and misuse, and troubleshoot failures;
- evaluate and improve the reliability, quality, accessibility, and performance of our workflow; and
- comply with law, enforce our Terms of Service, and establish or defend legal claims.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent when requested, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent for future processing when consent is the applicable basis, although that does not affect processing already completed.
4. Image and AI processing
Your image and generated media may be sent to specialized infrastructure and AI providers to perform subject isolation, motion generation, finishing, storage, and delivery. We do not use customer uploads to train our own general-purpose AI models. Our providers process information under their own agreements and privacy terms, which may differ from ours.
The Service analyzes visual content to produce an animation. We do not use facial recognition to identify people, and we do not create biometric identification templates. Please do not upload confidential material, sensitive personal information, or images you lack permission to use.
5. When we disclose information
We disclose information only as needed for the following purposes:
| Recipient | Purpose |
|---|---|
| GitHub | Hosting the public website and receiving ordinary web requests and logs. |
| fal | Generating motion from the submitted image and selected reaction. |
| Modal | Computing, subject isolation, finishing, and related processing when that workflow is enabled. |
| Resend | Sending delivery and service emails when email delivery is enabled. |
| Payment processor | Processing payment and preventing payment fraud if paid features are offered. |
We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or complete a merger, financing, sale, or transfer of the Service. We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising.
6. Cookies and browser storage
The private beta uses an essential, HTTP-only session cookie named bttl_beta after a valid promo code is entered. It lasts up to 24 hours and is used for access control and security. The site also stores a job identifier in your browser's local storage so an in-progress request can resume on the same browser. You can remove that value by clearing this site's browser data, but doing so may prevent the job from resuming.
We do not currently use advertising cookies or our own analytics trackers. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may receive standard request information according to their policies. Because we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, a Global Privacy Control signal does not change how we handle your information.
7. Retention and deletion
Uploads, cutouts, generated media, and delivery files are ordinarily retained for up to 30 days after delivery so the private link can work and we can investigate failures. We may delete them sooner. We retain contact, transaction, support, security, and technical records only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution needs.
To request earlier deletion, email hello@bringthemtolife.xyz from the delivery address and include enough information for us to locate the project. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove limited copies in provider backups or records that must be retained by law.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and private delivery links. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep a delivery link private and contact us promptly if you believe it or your information has been exposed.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to appeal or complain to a data-protection authority. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions.
Send a request to hello@bringthemtolife.xyz. We may need to verify that you control the relevant email address or project. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
10. International processing
Bring Them to Life operates in the United States. If you use the Service from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we rely on contractual or other lawful transfer safeguards.
11. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and creators who are at least 18 years old. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service or law changes. We will post the revised version here and change the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice when required.
13. Contact
Privacy questions and requests may be sent to hello@bringthemtolife.xyz.
